Hello welcome to the intermittant observations of Mark Selander. I am a person (hurrah!) living in New England. Up until 2006 most of my life had been spent in the NW United States, Oregon and Washington to be exact. It is a fortunate existence to be born there, but it became apparent that it was time to get up and start checking out the rest of the world. In April I moved out to the East Coast and now (after many moves and job changes) find myself living in beautiful Cranson Rhode Island. I work for a local jewelry company exploring a new set of skills and ideas, and in my spare time check out the states and cities of this region. I miss my friends and family back home but have met and made wonderful new friends in the past year and am constantly amazed at how life rearranges itself when the time is right. I reccomend it, getting out, making a change, moving somewhere unexpected, trying your hand at new work, letting go. That is all this blog is really about. Enjoy.
